Obituary of Edward F. Wlodarski

Edward F. Wlodarski, Jr., 71, of Green Township, NJ, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 14, 2026. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda, and their loyal companion, Jake.

Born on July 24, 1954, in New Britain, CT, to the late Edward and Irene (Yelenak) Wlodarski, Ed made his home in Lake Tranquility for many years with his wife, Linda. He built a long and respected career in the HVAC industry, known for his dedication, skill, and strong work ethic. After many years in the field, he most recently served as Chief Estimator for Hunter Roberts Construction Group in New York City, where his experience and insight were greatly valued so much so that he was known as "The Legend".

Ed had a wide range of interests that reflected both his curiosity and his enthusiasm for life. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, had a special appreciation for Corvettes, and spent many hours communicating with fellow enthusiasts on his ham radios. He was an active member of the ARRL and the FRC Ham Radio Clubs, as well as the Natural Glass Corvette Club, where he shared his passions with many friends.

Above all, Ed's greatest joy was the life he shared with his beloved wife of 44 years, Linda (Cannavine), and their seven-year-old Aussiedoodle, Jake. Together, Ed and Linda could often be found enjoying time outdoors with Jake, participating in activities such as agility and nose work. Their love for dogs was well known among friends and neighbors, many of whom spent time at the couple's own dog park—thoughtfully built by Ed so they could share their love of dogs and community with those around them.

Ed will be remembered for his warm spirit, generosity, and the quiet way he brought people together—whether through shared hobbies, neighborhood gatherings, or simple conversations on the radio. He found happiness in the everyday moments and took great pride in the life he built with those he loved.

Ed is also survived by a sister; Deborah and nephews; Craig and Zach

In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased by his sister.
