Obituary of Diane P. Candido

Diane Patricia Candido, 64 of Hopatcong, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Morristown Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and family. Born on September 8, 1961, in Newark, New Jersey. Diane is the beloved daughter of Florence (Zeitler) Morgan and the late Donald Morgan Sr.

Diane was a proud graduate of Bloomfield High School, Class of 1979. She dedicated many years of her life to serving her community through her work with Hopatcong Schools Cafeteria Services, where she was known for her kindness, warmth, and care for the students she served.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, John Candido, Sr. in 2024, with whom she shared a life centered on family and commitment.

Diane is survived by her six sons: Andrew, John, Daniel, Matthew, Christopher, and Nicholas, who were the center of her world. She also leaves behind her brother, Donald Morgan Jr. and her niece Kelly. 

She was a cherished grandmother to Logan, Oliver, Matthew, Hudson, Austin, Landon, Noah, Ryler, Camden, and Sofia, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

Diane will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her generous spirit, and the countless memories she created with those she held dear. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. (JUST SAYIN…)

Family and friends are invited to attend Diane's Life Celebration on Tuesday, March 24 from 4 to 8pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30pm at the funeral home. All other services for Diane will be held privately.
