Walter was “a cop’s cop” I have a great many fond memories of working together whether in a radio car or on the office Walter was always a lot of fun to be around. He will be missed and I was fortunate to have know him as not only a coworker but as a friend.

Anne, and family, I am so very sorry for the loss of such a wonderful kind man. Walter was a great friend for so many years, and always there when I needed him to talk to. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends during this sad and difficult time. He was one of the best Police Officers West Orange ever had. Rest In Peace now Wally (that's what I called him). You will be missed dearly.

Goodbye Walter. You were (and still are) the 'supreme scheduler'. There are too many funny stories to share about our time with the PD for this little space. Your family has a lot to be proud of. You've touched a lot of lives. MJR

My sincere condolences to the Clark family. I had the pleasure of working alongside Walter for over 25 years at West Orange PD. I remember working the midnight tour with him down the Valley in Zone 1. He was a funny guy and had a great sense of humor. RIP Walt

Walter was my husbands partner in West Orange NJ police department. We both have fond memories of times spent with him at our home, bringing our catamaran to the house in Lake Hopatcong and boating. We would see him at the unity tour in Washington DC where Jim participated for several years. Walter was a gentleman with a quick wit. We send our sincere condolences.
