Obituary of Walter J. Clark, Jr.

Walter J. Clark, Jr., 72, of Landing, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 10, 2026.

Born on July 30, 1953, in Jersey City, NJ, Walter was the son of the late Walter J. Clark, Sr. and Marion (Devaney) Clark. He earned his bachelor's degree from St. Peter's College in Jersey City and his Master's Degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange and dedicated his career to public service as a police officer with the West Orange Police Department, retiring after thirty years of service. He then worked for Morris Township for eighteen years.

Walter enjoyed spending time on the water boating, playing golf, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Anne; his daughters, Sarah Clark and Tori Clark; his grandchildren, Kayden and Ava; his sisters, Eileen Kreush and her husband William, and Mary Beth Clark; his niece, Erin Walker; and his nephews, James and Patrick Kreush.

Walter's Life Celebration will include a memorial visitation on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 5:30 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
