Obituary of Margaret Takacs

Margaret (nee: Gede) Takacs of Hopatcong died Saturday January 2, 2010 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's, Dover. She was 88. Born in Passaic, she lived in Wallington before moving to Hopatcong in 1994. A homemaker, she also owned and operated along with her late husband Laddie's Market in Passaic. A parishioner of St. Stephen RC Magyar Church in Passaic, she was a founding member and past vice-president of the Wallington AARP and a founding member of the Wallington Senior Citizens. An avid reader who enjoyed traveling, she was devoted to her family and grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Ladislaus E. Takacs. Devoted mother of Ronald Takacs and his wife Adrianna of West Chester PA, Kathleen M. Ferrentino and her husband Bruce of Hopatcong and the late Joseph. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Takacs of West Chester PA, Kevin Takacs of Baltimore MD and Ashley and Tyler Ferrentino (both of Hopatcong).
