Obituary of John Joseph Bickar

John Joseph Bickar died Tuesday September 15, 2009 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 84 years old. Born in Manville, Mr. Bickar has resided in Hopatcong since 1961. He was a United States Navy veteran serving during World War II from 1942-45. Mr. Bickar was employed as a maintenance worker for the Boonton Board of Education and worked at Boonton Middle School before retiring. He enjoyed boating and coin collecting, but his greatest joy was his time spent with his family especially his grandchildren. Loving husband of the late Signy (2007). Beloved father of Sharon D. Cintron and her husband Louis and John N. Bickar. Adoring grandfather of Melissa, Jennifer and Raquel. Dear brother of Cathryn Bulanda.
