Testimonials
We receive many letters from the families we've served, thanking us for our caring ways during their time of loss. Their words warm our hearts, and speak to you of our professionalism, compassion, and the true value of the services we provide.
To Joseph, Michael and Staff,
From the bottom of our hearts we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Cinotti family and the staff at Leber- Lakeside Funeral Home. Our dear mother, Thomasina Grogan, passed away during the Christmas holiday season and we could not have asked for more heartfelt care.
Our family was treated with respect and compassion and more importantly Mom was blessed to receive the gentle loving care she so deserved. We are truly grateful that Joseph and Michael were able to assist with the decisions that needed to be made at that very difficult time. We appreciate your professionalism and will always remember your kindness and the special touches that were added to honor our beloved Mom. You will always hold a very special place in our hearts!
Kind regards,
Paul C. Grogan and the family of Thomasina Grogan
Dear Joe,
There is truly no way to express our sincere gratitude to you, your brother and your amazing staff. You guided us to make decisions, although difficult ones, with your commitment to excellence. From the first phone call after Mom’s passing to the minute we sat down to make arrangements you put our minds at ease with your kind words, knowledge and ability to know what we needed to help us deal with our undeniable grief.
As we gathered items and pictures from her home and ours, it gave us time to laugh, cry and remember. Watching others look at those same items the night of the wake gave us a sense of peace that she enjoyed life so much and gave us so many wonderful memories. Most importantly, it gives us great comfort that she was no longer in pain and is now enjoying a different life.
We cannot ever truly thank you for your caring and compassion and for helping us to give Mom a beautiful tribute; a real “Celebration of Life” that she deserved.
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Karen Koster & Family

It was an honor and tribute to Chief Barbato to have his funeral service run so smoothly and without interference, whatsoever. Please know how much your professional courtesy was appreciated by the Netcong Police Department. If you ever need help from our department, please do not hesitate to call me.

This appeared in the Daily Record – Letters to the Editor Section:
We recently had a funeral for “our” Pop Weber. He had been living with us since 1975. Two and a half years ago, we had to put him in a nursing home. At that time, we were told that we had to plan his funeral and pre-pay it. We went to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home in Landing and we felt cheated that Joe Cinotti, the funeral director, was not there any longer because he had passed away. We had to deal with his son, Michael Cinotti. On December 12th, our “Pop” passed away. I realize now that I should never have felt cheated dealing with Michael instead of Joe because Michael is a carbon copy of his Dad (Oh, what a compliment)! I wrote a tribute to our Pop and asked Michael to read it. He read it with such feeling as his Dad would have done. He did a wonderful job and made such a trying time a lot easier.

Joseph, Michael and Staff,
On behalf of the entire Ondish Family, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for the meaningful Life Celebration Services you had for my father, George. We all took great comfort in the way you honored and remembered Dad. Your caring and compassionate staff saw to every detail of Dads’ services. We were very impressed by the way that you worked with us to co-create such a special tribute to a man we loved so much. Thank you again for all you did to celebrate, remember, share, and honor the life of a man that meant so much to so many people.
Sincerely,
Arthur Ondish – Mayor of Mt. Arlington Borough
When my brother passed it was sudden and unexpected. We are new to the area and chose Leber Lakeside Funeral Home because it was the only one I knew in the area. It ended up being a very good decision. Joseph & Michael Cinotti were professional, yet personable. They understood that we needed to keep the cost down, and they provided the most affordable options first and made other suggestions in order to keep it tasteful. They did NOT come across as “Salesmen” in any way and were available after our initial visit to answer any questions or concerns we had. The day of a wake/funeral is sad by itself, but they added nice touches that made the day more of a Celebration of my Brother's life. Overall, my Family and I were more than satisfied with the level of service, handling of the wake/funeral, cleanliness of the facilities, added touches and friendliness of the entire staff.
