Obituary of Melchiorre Oliva, III

Melchiorre "Mel" Oliva III of Netcong, NJ passed away on Monday, January 18th at Hackettstown Medical Center in Hackettstown, NJ surrounded by his loving family. He was 49. Mel was born on March 31, 1966 in Denville, NJ. He was an electrician's assistant. Mel was a longtime resident of Netcong, NJ. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking and fishing. Melchiorre is survived by his mother, Muriel, his son, Melchiorre IV, his sister, Christine O'Connell, his niece Brielle, his nephew, Evan and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. His father, Melchiorre II pre-deceased him in 2005. Mel's Life Celebration will include visitation on Thursday, January 21st from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a catholic prayer service offered on Friday morning, January 22nd at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Mel will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover, NJ.
