Obituary of Mary DiBlasi

Beloved Mother and Grandmother Mary DiBlasi passed away in her Virginia home on April 5. She was 82 years young. Mary's energy and excitement were catching and we will miss her zeal and gusto. Mary was born in Bayonne, NJ on March 23, 1934. She had retired in 2008 after 29 years as an Instructional Aide at Old Farmers Road School in Long Valley, NJ. Mary loved to dance and care for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas DiBlasi in 2003. She leaves on this earth her brother Joe Chwan of Harrisburg, PA, her son Tom DiBlasi of Landing NJ, daughters Denise Olivares of Alpharetta, GA and Michele Walton of Glen Allen, VA. She will be missed by her 6 grandchildren, Iley and Sofia DiBlasi, Roberto and Julian Olivares, and Nathan and Garrett Walton; and many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Mary's Life Celebration will include visiting on Sunday April 10, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday April 11, 2016 beginning at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 8 Windemere Avenue, Mt. Arlington, NJ. Mary will be laid to rest with her late husband Thomas at the German Valley Rural Cemetery in Long Valley, NJ.
