Obituary of Christopher E. Riebel

Christopher E. Riebel, 22, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Hopatcong, passed away on Saturday December 24, 2016. Born in Dover, NJ on January 16, 1994, to Gerald "Jerry" Riebel and Blanche (Caffrey) Riebel, Chris resided in Hopatcong for most of his life prior to moving to Jacksonville in 2016. A graduate of Sussex County Vo-Tech High School, Class of 2012, Chris enjoyed riding his motorcycle, running and sky diving, but most importantly, spending time with his family and many friends. Chris graduated from Tulsa Welding Institute in Jacksonville and was employed at PBM Constructors. Survivors include his loving parents, Jerry and Blanche, brother Anthony, paternal grandparents, Gerald and Linda Riebel, his aunts and uncles, Audra Riebel, Lora Verducci, Mary Silverman, Elaine and Rob Struble and Thomas and Lydia Caffrey and cousins; John, Jason, Kristin, Carolyn, Deanna, Robbyn, Tommy and Jen. Also surviving are many close friends. Chris' Life Celebration will include visiting on Monday January 2, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered Monday evening at the funeral home beginning at 7:30PM. Cremation will be private.
