Obituary of Ronald Bastedo

Ronald Bastedo, 85, of Hopatcong passed away peacefully on Monday August 1, 2023 at New Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Newark, NJ.

 

Born in Bronx, NY on June 8, 1938 to the late Thomas and Helen (DeSilva) Bastedo, Ronald served proudly in the United States Army.  He was retired from his occupation with United Parcel Service (UPS) in New York City, NY.

 

He was a dedicated parishioner of St. Jude’s Church in Hopatcong where he was a member of their Knights of Columbus Council for many years.

 

Survivors include his beloved wife Marianne (Nigota), son Robert Bastedo and his wife Michelle, grandchildren Brittany Bastedo, Lisa Clark, Tyler Bastedo, Rebecca Bastedo, Lauren Bastedo and Chase Bastedo and daughter-in-law Debra Prell and her husband Mike.
