Obituary of Michael S. Issler

Michael S. Issler of Stanhope, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon Twp., NJ surrounded by his loving family. He was 66 years old. Michael was born on May 29, 1957 in Ridgewood, NJ to the late Ray and the late Elaine Issler.

Michael was a manager at Bradco Supply in Randolph for many years before retiring. Mr. Issler was a long-time resident of Stanhope, NJ and a distinguished member of his community. Michael was an avid collector of glass insulators and never missed a chance to add more CD121s to his massive collection. He enjoyed skydiving and walking with his dogs but most importantly, Michael cherished his time with his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his devoted daughter, Joann Issler, her husband, Nick, his life partner, Michele Shine and his brothers, Stephen Issler and Jim Issler. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins and many dear friends.

Michael's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, March 16th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with a 12:30 pm Prayer Service offered at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
