Carl W. Todt, Jr. of Venice FL (formerly of New Jersey) died Tuesday November 6, 2007 at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack. He was 64. Born in Newark, he was raised in Roselle Park. He lived in Andover for 22 years prior to moving to Florida. Vice-President with Dreyfus Investment Services in New York, NY, he retired in 1991. He was a volunteer for Cancer Hope Network in Chester, Avian Wildlife Center in Branchville, current member of Port Morris United Methodist Church in Landing, a past member of the Stanhope United Methodist in Netcong, a youth league basketball coach in Stanhope, a volunteer with St. Clare's Hospital in Dover and a supernumerary with the Metropolitan Opera. A licensed pilot, he enjoyed traveling, tennis, hiking and basketball. His intense love of nature and animals was unparallel. He was a friend to all. Beloved husband of Judith R. (nee: Richardson). Dear brother of Malcolm S. of Middlebury CT and the late Alan H. who died in 1991. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.
