Obituary of Angelo Pandiscia

Angelo Pandiscia, 94, of Ledgewood, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 2nd at Pine Acres Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Madison, NJ surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 22, 1920 in Lacedonia, Italy to the late Domenico and the late Angelina (Gianetti) Pandiscia. Angelo resided in Hopatcong and Ledgewood, NJ. He worked for Emerson Radio as a quality control technician for many years before retiring. He enjoyed playing the guitar and painting. Angelo was very patriotic and proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army. During WWII he saw action in North Africa, Southern France and Sicily. Survivors include his beloved wife of 73 years, Sylvia (Giglio), his son, Michael & his wife, Deborah, his daughter-in-law, Maryann Pandiscia and his sister, Mary DeStefano. Additional survivors include his cherished grandchildren; Christina Grasso (Jack), Dominic Pandiscia (Nancy), Anne Marie DeForge (Mark), Anthony Pandiscia (Dana), Edward Pandiscia (Doreen) and 13 great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his son, Domenick in 1997 and his brothers; Louis, Tony and Americo. Angelo's Life Celebration will include visitation on Friday, June 5th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. There will be a funeral mass on Saturday, June 6th at 9:30 AM at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive, Hopatcong, NJ. Angelo will be laid to rest at the Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ.
