Obituary of Kaitlin Feuss

Kaitlin Mary Campbell Feuss, 23, of the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township passed away on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ to Joseph and Timmee (Campbell) Feuss, Kaitlin has resided in Lake Hopatcong all her life. She was a graduate of Jefferson Township High School where she played softball and field hockey, held an associates degree from County College of Morris and was in her last semester at William Paterson College working towards her bachelor’s degree. Kaitlin worked in the customer service department at Pathmark in Jefferson. She was a passionate fan of the New York Yankees, New York Giants and New Jersey Devils. Kaitlin loved listening to the country music duo Florida Georgia Line, was a member of the National Rifle Association and the RSTP Shooting Range in Randolph. Kaitlin was a parishioner at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Lake Hopatcong where she was an altar server. Survivors include her loving parents, Joseph and Timmee and six devoted brothers and sisters, Lauren Feuss, Erica Feuss, Derek Feuss and wife, Cyndi, Ashley Woitowicz and husband, Ray, Craig Feuss and wife, Emily (Hefter) Feuss and Morgan Feuss. Kaitlin is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Clover Feuss, Paul Woitowicz, Madelyn Woitowicz and Toby Woitowicz, maternal grandmothers, Mercedes Campbell and Catherine Feuss, her boyfriend, Joe Menagh and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kaitlin will be remembered for her feistiness, courage, stubbornness, toughness and loving nature. Kaitlin’s Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Saturday June 6 from 3-7 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 3:30 PM also at the funeral home. Cremation will be conducted privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at www.cff.org. Kaitlin felt very strongly about utilizing funds donated for her care. To fulfill this wish, Kaitlin’s family will be utilizing any remaining donations to contribute to the Boomer Esiason Foundation to Fight Cystic Fibrosis to help fund grants for others in need of lung transplants.
