Obituary of Gerald A. Cetrulo

Gerald A. Cetrulo of Netcong, NJ passed away on Wednesday, August 5th at home. He was 70. Gerald was born on October 30, 1944 in Newark, NJ to the late Salvatore and Connie (Guido) Cetrulo. He was an operating engineer with local #825 for many years before retiring. Gerald lived in Netcong for the past 30 years and prior to that, he lived in Newark. He was an avid hunter, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a longtime parishioner of St. Michael's RC Church in Netcong. Gerald is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Ann (DiBernard), his daughter, Michele, his sons, Gerald Jr. and Michael and his step-children, Thomas Michaud and Dorri Michaud. Additional survivors include his cherished grandchildren who knew him as "Poppi", Sal, Mark, Arianna, Isabella, Mark, Molly, Maggie, Chrissy, Chase, Hunter and Cole. Also his sisters, Mildred Diana & husband Frank. Louise Fair & husband Stoner. Brothers, Joseph & wife Helen. Salvatore & wife Marlene, and the late Raymond & wife, Dolores. In addition Gerald also leaves behind a large extension of family and friends. Gerald's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Sunday, August 9th from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a funeral mass on Monday, August 10th at 10:00 am at St. Michael's RC Church, 4 Church Street, Netcong, NJ. Family & friends are invited to meet directly at the church on Monday morning. Gerald will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral mass at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ. For memorial donations, please consider St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
