Obituary of Stella Bencivengo

Stella Bencivengo, of Wharton, NJ passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at St. Clare's Hospital Dover. Stella was born July 13, 1917 in Port Morris. She was the daughter of the late Harry and the late Mary (Churchill) Tufano. Stella lived in Port Morris and Dover before moving to Wharton many years ago. She was employed by Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Twp. as a Purchasing Agent. Stella was a Parsihoner of St. Bernard Parish in Wharton, a Member of the Rockaway Senior Citizens and a Member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employee's. She is survived by her sister Anna J. Pugsley, brothers Michael Tufano and Harry Tufano. She is pre deceased by her 2 husband's Pete George and Gus Bencivengo, her 4 sisters Theresa Sibilia, Carmella Doyle, Josephine Rotile, Marie Parente and her brother Sam Tufano. Stella's Life Celebration will be on Saturday, October 24th from 8:00am to 9:00am at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. There will be a Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, October 24 at 10:00 am at St. Bernard Parish, Wharton, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
