My dearest friend, Mr. Charlie,
My heart is broken now.
But only till we meet again,
Tis only a blink of the eye.

You will always be remembered my friend. Your selfless actions were a true testament that God was working through you. I will never forgot what you whispered in my ear when the church door opened and my wife to be walked down the isle. Love Always, Rob

My life would not be the same if it weren't for "BB Charlie's" input, love & care when we met in 1995.
It was in a church basement with many other friends of Bill W. Charlie was good friends with my sponsor- Bill Sweeney. Together they would try to lead me to a better understanding of the life I was living all those years ago.
I was honored to drive him to and from meetings. Charlie was a great listener and would share his wisdom when asked. He was a Good Man. My only regret is never having been able to share this with him. We always think we will have one more day. I was shocked to hear of your passing and felt relief for you at the same time. I believe you were not living a life chosen, it was out of your power. I believe you are now at peace.
Thank you Charlie, for impact on my life and countless others. Your spirit will be with me forever.

Grew up around the corner from him in Clifton. My sister, Gail went to school with "Chuck." He was a good guy and I remember he helped me out once when my car broke down in front of his house. Luckily we didn't have far to push it as Ray Sikorski at Montclift Exxon was a few rolls away. Very nice to get an assist from a very nice person. So sorry to hear about the loss. Too young!
