Obituary of John A. Vigeland

John Arthur Vigeland, 69, of Hopatcong, passed away on Monday December 21, 2015 at Overlook Hospital in Summit surrounded by his loving family. Born in Englewood, NJ on February 14, 1946 to the late Ruth(Lee) and Arthur Vigeland, John has resided in Hopatcong for 15 years. John earned his bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and retired from JP Morgan Chase in Brooklyn. John was an avid NASCAR fan but his greatest joy was sneaking chocolates to his granddaughter Charlotte and spending time with his family and his dog, Bonnie. Devoted husband of Janet(Nealon), beloved father of Joshua and Jessica Brewer and dearest grandfather of Charlotte Brewer-Nelson. Cremation will be held privately and under the direction of Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
