Obituary of Ilene Kunz

Ilene Kunz of the Kenvil section of Roxbury Twp., NJ passed away on Monday, December 28th at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 92. Ilene was born on August 24, 1923 in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma to the late Cecil and the late Etta (Hendrix) Pierce. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ilene enjoyed reading and traveling throughout the United States. She was very proud of the fact that she traveled to 47 states. Ilene was an active member of the Ladies Guild at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Stanhope. She lived in Roxbury Twp., NJ for the past 20 years and previous to that, she resided in Hopatcong, NJ. Ilene is survived by her devoted daughters; Sandra Norberg, Gloria Rennie & her husband, John and Leanne Fetcho. Additional survivors include her cherished grandchildren; Larae, Joseph, Scott, Tracey, Robby, Christina, Steven, Michael John Jr. and 17 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Joseph L. in 2001 Ilene's Life Celebration will include visitation on Friday, January 1st from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a prayer service offered at 4:30pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
