Obituary of Michael Wayne Barkley

Michael Wayne Barkley of Kunkletown PA (formerly of Mt. Arlington and Hopatcong) passed away Wednesday January 6, 2016 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown PA. He was 66. Born in Richmond VA, he lived in Hopatcong and Mt. Arlington before moving to Kunkletown, PA less than a year ago. He was a proud United States Army Veteran. Michael was an electrical designer with LJ Gonzer in White Plains NY. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching golf, playing solitaire on his computer/tablet and reading Stephen King and James Patterson crime novels. Beloved husband of Elizabeth A. "Beth". Devoted father of Krystel, Elizabeth, Michelle and Carla. Loving grandfather of Nicolette and Charlotte. Dear brother of James Barkley and Patricia Fowlkes. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Michael's Life Celebration on Wednesday January 13 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will be held at 5:30PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House (www.rmhc.org).
