Obituary of Vincent Ciardi

Vincent Ciardi of Hopatcong, NJ passed away on Monday, January 11th at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 86. Vincent was born on May 10, 1929 in Newark, NJ to the late Sam and the late Virginia (Rosamilia) Ciardi. He was a truck driver for the Teamsters Union in Newark, NJ for many years and later he owned and operated the AC Tile Company in Livingston, NJ. Vincent lived in Hopatcong for the past 16 years and previous to that, he resided in Livingston, NJ. He enjoyed his New Jersey Shore summer home, Sunday dinners with his family, the New York Yankees and watching Fox News. Vincent is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Anna (Angelone), his son, Vincent S. & his wife, Carol Ann, his daughter, Joanne Brady & her husband, Gary, and his son, Samuel G. & his wife, Linda. Additional survivors include his cherished grandchildren; Sammy, Tara & her husband, Michael, Gary & his wife, Sarah, Ashley & her husband, Blake, Marisa & her husband, Jon, and Vinnie & his wife, Jacquelyn, his great grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Jack, Payton and Quinn. Also his brother, Patsy & his wife, Angela. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Samuel. Vincent's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Thursday, January 14th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a funeral mass on Friday, January 15th at 10:00 am at St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong. Vincent will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
