Obituary of Alice B. Esposito

Alice B. Esposito of Netcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, February 29th at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 91 years young. Alice was born on December 8, 1924 in Flanders, NJ to the late Tony and the late Retta (Beam) Zenna. She was a mortgage specialist with First Citizens Bank in Ledgewood and Flemington, NJ. Alice was a longtime resident of Netcong, NJ and an active parishioner at St. Michael RC Church. She enjoyed going out to eat with friends, completing word search puzzles and most importantly, Alice loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren and family. Alice is survived by her daughter, Linda Colananni, her son-in-law, Bob and her grandchildren, Darren and Lauren. Additional survivors include her sisters, Marion Benvenuto, Ebbie Bencivengo and Maisie Esposito. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Louis J. in 1971 and her siblings, Helen Zenna, Goldie Esposito and Tony Zenna. Alice's Life Celebration will include visitation on Wednesday, March 2nd from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a funeral mass on Thursday morning March 3rd at 10:00 am at St. Michael's RC Church, 4 Church Street, Netcong, NJ. Alice will be laid to rest with her husband, Louis at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ.
