Obituary of O. Charles Morgan

O. Charles Morgan, of Newton, passed away on Tuesday December 3 at Newton Medical Center after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's and cancer. He was 59. Born in Kearny, on May 9, 1954, Charlie grew up in Hopatcong and was Hopatcong High School's first 1000 point scorer in basketball. He excelled at all sports. A graduate of Trenton State College, his passion was sports and he was active as a coach in the community his whole life. He is survived by his daughter, Jaimie Lynn Morgan and his loving family, Lynn Morgan, Judith and John Kracht, James and Linda Genaro, Kathy and Irwin Marcus, Judy Ann and Jim Tobin, Janet and Tony Krucinski, John Kracht and Joe and Jo-Anne Kracht. Charlie is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Tobin, Justin Tobin, Jordan Kracht, Jenny Kracht and Emma Marcus. It was Charlie's desire for his family and friends to celebrate his life on May 10, 2014, for his 60th birthday, from 1-4 PM at St. Jude's Parish Hall, 40 Maxim Drive, Hopatcong, NJ 07843.
