Obituary of Magda M. Eger

Magda M. Eger of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20th at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 93 years old. Magda was born in Hungary and was a long time resident of Hopatcong, NJ. She was an assistant designer in the fashion industry and worked for several prominent firms in New York City before retiring. In her younger days, Magda enjoyed water and snow skiing and was known for her excellent cooking. Magda is survived by her, devoted daughter, Marietta Grof, her son, Laszlo Eger, her grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Phillippe and Christopher, her great-grandchildren, Natalie, Lucy and Alice and many caring friends. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Laszlo in 1993, her sister, Elizabeth and her brother, Janos. Madga's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Mass at St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong, NJ to be announced by the family at a later date.
