Obituary of Lois M. Fitzgerald

Lois Fitzgerald, 68, of Wharton, passed away on Saturday April 9, 2016 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus. Born in Jersey City, NJ on January 14, 1948 to the late Edward and Lois (Bower) Harrigan, Lois resided in the Landing section of Roxbury prior to moving to Wharton three years ago. Lois was a Licensed Practical Nurse last employed at Maxim Health Care in Jersey City, NJ. Lois was a collector of American Indian dolls. She enjoyed spending time with her pets and was an animal lover, especially wolves. Survivors include her husband, Henry "Chip", a son, Thomas M. Riedinger (Jennifer), a daughter, Kelly DePalma (Ray), three grandchildren, Cory, Ravin and Randy and four sisters, Pat Zubel, Elaine Heiss, Rosemary Alling and Joyce Sargo. Lois' Life Celebration will included visiting on Tuesday April 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered on Wednesday April 13 beginning at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Family and friends may gather Wednesday morning at 9:00 am prior to prayers. Lois will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
