Obituary of Nicolas John Prosser

Nicolas John “Coley” Prosser of Hopatcong passed away on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at home. He was 48. He lived in Landing and attended Roxbury Schools. Later he moved to Wharton and then to Hopatcong where he resided for 12 years. Nicolas was a maintenance supervisor with Omega Packaging in Totowa for 27 years and was valued for his mechanical, electrical & equipment fabrication skills. He enjoyed caring for his many aquarium fish and deep sea fishing but most importantly, he loved spending time with his cherished daughter, Jacey Mae. Devoted father of Jacey Mae Prosser. Cherished son of William H. and Joan C. (nee: Ulias) Prosser. Dear brother of Lisa Marie Prosser. Also survived by his ex-spouse, Renee Reed. He leaves his sweet cat, Mo, whom he rescued from “life on the streets”, and is joined in heaven with his beloved dog of 16 years, Loki. A Memorial Mass will be offered at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Rockaway, NJ on Friday, May 27th at 10:30 am. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the Church on Friday morning. Entombment will be private. Coley loved his pets throughout his life, and donations in his memory can be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
