Obituary of Mildred Strowe

Mildred A. (Millie) Strowe Mother of eight, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother Mildred A. (nee Frayne) Strowe passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, April 20th at 9:00 am from the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ thence to St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong, NJ where at 10:00 am a liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered. Interment is at Gate of Heaven, East Hanover, NJ. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, April 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Born and raised in East Orange, daughter of the late James and Mildred Frayne. Lived in West Orange for 28 years before moving to Hopatcong 19 years ago. Mildred worked for RCA/GE in Saddle Brook, then Protonics in Boonton before retiring in 1998. Mildred was pre-deceased by her beloved husband William in 1990 and her brothers James, Michael and Edward Frayne and her sisters Margaret Hettrick and Sarah Ryan. She is the devoted mother of eight loving children Richard, William & Ysabel of West Orange, Thomas & his wife MaryBeth of Hartsville, SC, Catherine DeLorenzo & her husband Frank of Landing, Vicki Strowe of West Orange, JoAnn Anderson & her late husband Chris of Hopatcong, Terri Strowe of Hopatcong and Penny Barella & her husband Dave of Hopatcong. Devoted grandmother of 16, Anthony, Frankie, Christopher, Joey, Patrick, William, Danielle, Amanda, Gabrielle, Brendon, Nina, Zach, Jesse, Makayla, Johnny and Issamar. Great-Grandchildren Bryanna, Matthew and Abel. Along with many nieces and nephews.
