Obituary of Frances Fischer

Frances Fischer, of Netcong, formerly of Bogota, passed away on Monday November 18 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus. She was 84 years young. Born in Hoboken, Frances grew up in Palisades Park and spent most of her life in Bogota where she raised her family prior to moving to Netcong five years ago. She was an excellent cook, known especially for her fabulous meatballs. Frances was very social and enjoyed dancing and bowling. She often shared many memories and stories of her life at Palisades Amusement Park where she met her husband, Charles. Loving mother of Helen Johnston and husband, Kevin, Glenn Fischer and wife, Gail and Kevin Fischer and wife, Christine, beloved grandmother of Jesse, Carly and Nicole Johnston, Devin Fischer and Peyton and Morgan Fischer, adoring great grandmother of James Johnston and dearest sister of Freda DeGregorio, Sandra Hnatko, Marie Badaloto, Vickie Morrison, Frank Dino, Dominick Dino, the late Josephine Hartwick and the late Margaret Dino. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Frances' Life Celebration on Saturday November 23 from 12-3pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing. A prayer service will be offered at 2:30pm at the funeral home. Cremation was held privately.
