Obituary of Thomas G. Fruzynski, MD

Thomas G. Fruzynski, MD, 62, of Roxbury Township, passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at Merry Heart Care Center in Succasunna, NJ surrounded by his loving family. Born in Newark to Marie (Mary) Kurzeja and the late Ladislaus (Walter) Fruzynski, Dr. Fruzynski resided in Irvington prior to moving to Roxbury over 30 years ago where he began his practice. He liked to travel, and was an avid outdoorsman. Dr. Fruzynski was very proud to be a licensed professional photographer and enjoyed photographing birds and wildlife. He also liked to scuba dive, but his greatest joy was spending time with family, friends and his pets Survivors include his mother, Marie (Mary) Fruzynski, a sister Judith Bechtold and her husband, Tom and two nephews, Thomas and Christopher Bechtold who meant the world to their "Unc". Dr. Fruzynski's Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Sunday July 17 from 2-4 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 3:30pm also at the funeral home. Cremation was held privately.
