I am lucky to call myself one of Judy’s oldest friends. We met in the third grade and continued that friendship through the good and bad.
Judy lived to please others and wanted nothing more than to love and be loved by others. Her pride and joy were her nephews and nieces. Gosh she was a proud peacock when she spoke of them !
Judy served as a Nanny to the Decker family, and as a caretaker to my grandfather Joseph DeSmet as well as others in the community.
I will miss my friend. We talked about sitting together on rocking chairs as we aged. Perhaps when we meet next we can share that familiar banter and talk about the way we were, rocking peacefully as the sun sets.
Love you and miss you !

I as m very lucky to call myself one of Judy's oldest friends as we met in the third grade and remained friends through the good and bad times.
The most significant memories of Judy include her capacity to love, especially those she considered family. Her nephews and nieces were her pride and joy.
Judy served as a Nanny to the Decker children, a caretaker for my grandfather Joe DeSmet, and other local families.
Her capacity to give was never ending. She lived to love and be loved.
Although the last few years were difficult for Judy, she never lost sight of the love she had. I am thankful her family and friends were there to support her and let her know she was not alone.
We love you Judy. Thank you for being such a great part of our lives.

We had such fun as traveling partners. I can remember so many good times over the course of 18 years together at B&G. I've missed you so much these past 2 years. Your pain is over and you are at rest with those you loved and have gone before you. God Bless you Judy, my friend.
