Obituary of Concetta Catania

Concetta Catania, age 99, of The Villages, FL passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at Prestige Manor, Florida. Concetta was born May 23, 1917 in Bronx, NY. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas and the late Gilda (Aceto) Cirincione. She is formerly of Long Island, NY and Budd Lake, NJ before moving to Florida many years ago. Concetta was a parishioner and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Jude Church, Budd Lake and was very involved with the Mt. Olive Senior Citizens before moving to Florida two years ago. She is survived by two daughters: Jill Greene, Angela Manzoli and her sister Grace Tirone. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and 1 great great granddaughter. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Pasquale A. in 1989 her two sons Arthur in 1989 and Lawrence in 2005. Concetta's Life Celebration will include visitation on Wednesday, August 10th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. There will be a Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, August 11th at 10:00 am at St. Jude Church, Budd Lake. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, NY.
