Obituary of Martin Snover

Martin S. Snover of Hampton Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 26th at Newton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 85 years old. Martin was born on September 12, 1931 in Sussex, NJ to the late Samuel and the late Margaret (Crawn) Snover. He worked as a union carpenter for many years before retiring. Mr. Snover was a longtime resident of Hampton Twp., NJ. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and was an avid NY Yankee fan. Martin was also an exempt member of the Andover Fire Department and a US Marine Corps Veteran. Martin is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Shirley (Arnott), his devoted daughters, Sally Wood & her husband, Robert and Nancy Snover & her companion, Doug, his daughter-in-law, Debra Snover, his cherished grandchildren; Colette, Diandra, Robert, Michael, Doug and Dax, his great-granddaughters, Kaylee and Kiera and his sisters, Margaret and Rose. He was pre-deceased by his son, Martin Snover in 2011 and his brothers, Harry and Arnet. All services were entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ and were held privately at the convenience of the family. The family is planning to announce a memorial service in the future.
