Obituary of Peter A. D'Auria

Peter A. D'Auria, Jr., of Frelinghuysen, passed away Tuesday November 1, 2016 at home. He was 70. Born in Dover, he lived in Netcong prior to moving to Frelinghuysen over 45 years ago. Peter was the manager of Mayfair Kennel in Frelinghuysen. A member of the American Kennel Club, he enjoyed birds, flowers and dog breeding. He is survived by two sisters: Mary K. Peer and Patricia A. Garrison and her husband Paul, brother-in-law Peter M. Ferrara, sister-in-law Violet D'Auria, 7 nieces, 6 nephews and many great nieces and great nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday November 19 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church in Mt. Arlington. Memorial donations in Peter's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or to Take The Lead (www.takethelead.org).
