Obituary of Rose (Roslyn) Zaragoza

Rose (Roslyn) Zaragoza, 73, of Roxbury Township, passed away Monday December 12, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus. Born in Jersey City on November 5, 1943, to the late Anthony and Lucia Casamento, Roslyn resided in Hoboken and Secaucus prior to moving to the Landing section of Roxbury Township seven years ago. Roslyn worked as a Switchboard Operator for Pitman Co. in Totowa prior to her retirement. Survivors include her devoted son, Anthony and his wife, Colleen and two adoring grandsons, Anthony and Nicholas. She was predeceased by a sister, Lucille Casamento. Roslyn's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandsons who affectionately called her "Mima". Roslyn's Life Celebration will include visiting on Wednesday December 14 from 5-8PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A gathering will begin Thursday December 15 at 9am at the funeral home. All attending are invited to join in prayer at 10am at the funeral home. Prayers will also be shared on Thursday morning at 11AM at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum for family and friends who are unable to attend the funeral home.
