Obituary of Joeanne E. Domanski
Joeanne E. (Parker) Domanski, 71, passed away on Sunday December 18, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's, Dover Campus, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Dover, NJ on September 9, 1945 to the late Joseph and Evelyn Parker, Joeanne has resided in Mt. Arlington for 48 years. Joeanne was a dedicated parishoner at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mt. Arlington where she volunteered and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She worked as a payroll and retirement specialist with the Mt. Olive Township Board of Education prior to her retirement.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 51 years, Robert, two loving daughters, Christine Thomas (William) and Michele Applegit (Mark), four adoring grandchildren, Ryan and Nicholas Thomas and Matthew and Megan Applegit, a dear sister, Linda Traywick and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Joeann enjoyed planting flowers, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren who called her "Grammy".
Joeanne's Life Celebration will include visiting on Tuesday December 20 from 4-8 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday December 21 beginning at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 8 Windemere Ave, Mt. Arlington, NJ. All are invited to meet directly at church prior to Mass. Joeanne will be laid to rest at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
