Obituary of Dorothy Coale

Dorothy Ann Coale of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at St. Clare's Hospital Denville Campus surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born into this world on Christmas Day in the year 1931 and left this world on Christmas Day in the year 2016. She was 85 years old. She was born at home in Clifton NJ to the late Joseph and the late Anna (Petrasek) Halupka.

She was a homemaker and a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Dorothy resided in Hopatcong, NJ for the past 49 years and she loved spending time with her devoted family.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Patricia McNamara and Leslie Coale, her son, Bradford Coale & his wife, Debi, her cherished grandchildren; Sean, Danielle, Bradford, Melissa and Kristy and her great-grandson, Colin, her Sister-in-laws, Ann Halupka and Marilyn Morlock, her brother-in-laws, Peter Derkas and Frank Morlock. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Lester B. in 1990, her son-in-law, John McNamara, her sisters, Anna Mae Halupka, Emilie Muench, Mary Dubansky, Irene Benko and Eleanor Derkas and her brothers, Joseph Halupka and Raymond Halupka.

Dorothy's Life Celebration will include visitation on Thursday, December 29th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a Funeral Mass offered at 10:30 AM on Friday morning, December 30th at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive in Hopatcong, NJ . Dorothy will be laid to rest at the Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp., NJ. For memorial donations, please consider Hopatcong Ambulance Squad or to St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong.
