Obituary of John Patrick Flood

John Patrick Flood of Sparta passed away Thursday December 29, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown. He was 53. Born in Dover, he has lived in Sparta since 1985. John was the owner of JPF & Sons Construction. He had a special passion for his trade. John also enjoyed fishin' down the shore and at Charleston Lake, Canada. He also enjoyed huntin' Jersey and PA. He loved vacationing with friends and family on LBI and watching the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR racing especially Jeff Gordon. John loved spending time with family especially with his granddaughter Kenzie and grandpups Felony and Diesel Beloved husband of Marion Renee (nee: Kincaid). Devoted father of Sean Patrick Flood and Timothy John Flood. Loving grandfather of Mackenzie Renee Flood. Cherished son of Gail-Marie (nee: Sjokvist) and the late Frederick W. Flood, Jr. Dear brother of William T. Flood, Constance Elizabeth Gould and Theresa Lynn Huber. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend John's Life Celebration on Thursday January 5 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. (www.cancer.org).
