Obituary of Debby Moore

Debby Moore of Mt. Arlington, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12th at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 87. Debby was born in the Bronx, NY to the late Daniel and the late Deborah Sullivan. She was a flight attendant for the former Colonial Airlines and a bookkeeper for Coca-Cola and GM. More recently, she was a realtor and worked for several real estate agencies. Debby resided in Mt. Arlington for the past 12 years and previous to that she lived in Northvale, NJ. She was a devout catholic and an active member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mt. Arlington. Debby enjoyed painting and playing cards but most importantly she loved spending time with her cherished family. Debby is survived by her son, Guy and his wife Marybeth, her daughter, Ellen Kairys & her husband, Steven, and her devoted grandchildren, Guy, Katie, Meghan, Kyle and Ali. She is also survived by her sisters, Lillian McArdle and Trudy Sullivan and her dear niece, Deborah O'Brien. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Guy in 2004 and her sisters, Mary Theresa Sullivan-Kaplin and Kathleen Sullivan. Debby's Life Celebration will include visitation on Thursday, February 16th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a funeral mass on Friday, February 17th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church, 8 Windemere Ave, Mt. Arlington, NJ 07856. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the church on Friday morning. Debby will be laid to rest with her late husband, Guy at the Rockland Cemetery, 201 Kings Highway, Sparkill, NY 10976.
