Obituary of Vincent Sibilia

Vincent Sibilia, 82, of Hopatcong, passed away on Friday February 24 2017 at Newton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 24, 1934 in Newark, NJ to the late Vincent and Clara (Freda) Sibilia, Vincent served in the United States Army from 1955-1957. He worked at the Caldwell, NJ Post Office until retirement. Vincent was an avid sports fan and loved the NY Giants, NY Mets and the NY Rangers. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, NJ and Mt. Airy Casino in Pennsylvania. His games of choice included Three Card Poker and Let 'Em Ride. Vincent was also a frequent visitor at the Meadowlands Racetrack. His greatest joy was spending time with family, especially his five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose in 2015. Survivors include his devoted daughter, Donna Marie Juskus (Carl), two sons, Archie V. and Vincent M. and five grandchildren, Michael, Carl, Vincent, Anthony and Candice. Vincent's Life Celebration will include visiting on Sunday February 26, 2017 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Catholic Blessing will be offered at 4:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation is private. For memorial donations, please consider St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
