Obituary of Marcelino Capote

Marcelino Capote of Hopatcong, NJ passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St. Clare's Hospital Dover Campus surrounded by his loving family. He was 88 years old. He was born on October 2, 1928 in Havana, Cuba to the late Blanca (Fuentes) and the late Felix Capote. Mr. Capote immigrated to the United States in 1970. He resided in Hopatcong, NJ for the past 12 years and previous to that, he lived in West New York, NJ. Marcelino owned and operated a restaurant supply company for many years before retiring. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Marcelino is survived by his devoted son and daughter-in-law, Carlos and Gladys, his two cherished grandsons, Carlos and his wife, Carla and Leonardo. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Anais Capote on January 28, 2017. All services were conducted privately and entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
