I’m so sad to read of Carol’s passing.
I’m shocked that she has gone so soon and so young. I used to work with Carol at a boutique store where she was the manager. I remember she was so happy to run that store. Everday she came in and looked beautiful and absolutely glowing and I really admired how she was a go-getter. She was a wonderful conversationalist and so warm and friendly. I know she loved her daughter so much, she would always keep us up-to-date on her daughter because she was a proud mom. Oh my goodness, the last time I saw her was probably in 2006 or 2007. I left to work somewhere else and I remember how happy she was for me. I can’t believe this happened. I’m shocked. My deepest condolences to Carol’s family. I miss her so much. I wish I had seen her one last time. Rest in Peace my sweet friend.

Always a bright smiling face and a cheerful hello when walking into Rite Aid. I only knew Carol as the friendly woman who always rung my order at the register. Just the other day I walked into the store and noticed that she wasn't there. I didn't hear the cheerful " Hello" I glanced over as I made my way to the isles. Later A friend told me of her passing. She will sorely be missed.
My heartfelt condolences to her family.
God must've needed another angel

I knew Carol from Rite Aide for many years and I loved walking into the store and she would say, "hello sunshine" :) well it was her that was the sunshine. She was always kind, courteous and loving. I just learned of her passing and I am sad that I will no longer be greeted by her. My prayers and thoughts are with her husband, her daughter and her extended family. You will always be remembered with Love. God Bless and Hold You Forever...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Carol from Rite Aid. I'm going to miss her so much. I really thought of her as a friend. She made me smile every time I saw her. She knew my kids so well too. She basically watched most of my kids grow up over the past few years. She loved my kids, and she was always so kind to them. She was kind to everyone. I'm going to miss her dearly.

Carol was always so happy and nice and made everyone feel welcome. Funny-Each and every time Carol checked my ID over the past few years (almost weekly)she would say,
"1974! That's the year I graduated! I'm so old!" and just laugh-Every time!! lol Carol you will be missed. Prayers to her family.

I missed the Sat visitation, and could kick myself, cause the last time I saw my dear friend Carol was at Rite Aid the Fri before her wedding and she was rushing out and I didn't stop her to wish her well. She was a shining beacon of light and happiness, anytime anyone would walk in Rite Aide, we would always talk about our aging health ailments, being around the same age. I am so heartbroken over losing her, but after my 17 yrs of Catholic school, I guess God needed another shining STAR. I really truly LOVED her and her never ending HAPPY personality, Sincerely Barbara S.Salerno

I am so sorry for your loss and I know there isn't much I can say to bring comfort. I can offer a thought that has brought me some comfort in times of loss and it is at Isaiah 25:8, that says God "will swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces" by bringing about a time when we can see our loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) How I do look forward to that. I hope that thought brings you some comfort. I will pray for peace and comfort for you and your family!

I knew Carol for the many years I lived in Hopatcong almost my whole life and every day would stop in at RiteAid. I would always see her first thing in the morning and we would chat for a bit about this and that. She was/is the sweetest, kindest woman that I would talk to. I just spoke with her on Saturday, February 27th around 8:30AM at RiteAid and she seemed so excited about her upcoming weekend and wedding. I was always greeted with a warm welcome every time I had the pleasure of seeing her. I am shocked this happened and my sincere condolences go out to her family during this difficult time. I will always remember her as the sweet, warm lady she was and I am so sad that this happened. I don't understand what happened to her, I went into RiteAid today and saw the obituary and couldn't understand how this happened. Once again I am so sorry and I will miss our morning chats that we had. RIP Carol

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May the promise in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8 where it says God "will swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces" by bringing about a time when we can see our loved ones again (John 5:28,29), bring a measure of comfort. How I do look forward to that!
