Obituary of Evelyn Keeler

Evelyn R. Keeler of Landing passed away Thursday March 9, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. She was 76. Born in Newark, she lived in Bloomfield prior to moving to Landing over 13 years ago. A homemaker, Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, painting and various other crafts. Beloved wife of John T. Keeler. Devoted mother of Jacqueline T. Alvine and her husband, Kevin and Stacy A. Hendrickson and her husband, Christian. Loving grandmother "Nanny" of Brooke and Matthew Alvine and Brynn and Kylie Hendrickson. Dear sister of James, Daniel, Richard, Michael and Patrick Castles, Elizabeth Braun, Florence Bowers, Sarah Castles, Anna Castles, the late Philip Castles and the late Irene McBride. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Evelyn's Life Celebration on Wednesday March 15 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday March 16 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, 76 Broad Street, Bloomfield. All are invited to meet directly at church. Evelyn will be laid to rest following mass in the Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America (www.pva.org).
