Obituary of Joseph Staab

Joseph Staab, 75, of Hopatcong, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 9, 2017, at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville Campus surrounded by his loving family. Born in Queens, NY on October 12, 1941 to the late John and Laura (Adler) Staab, Joseph resided in New York prior to moving to Hopatcong over 33 years ago. He worked as a Director of Credit and Collections for CBS Television in New York City. Joseph was very patriotic and loved to cook. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council in Queens, NY, but most importantly, Joseph loved life and interacting with people and animals. Survivors include his devoted wife, Katherine (Arteca) and his three children. Cremation was held privately. Joseph's Life Celebration will include a Memorial visitation on Thursday March 23, 2017 from 2:00-6:00 PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered Thursday evening at 5:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Kidney Foundation.
