Obituary of Patricia Hadyka

Patricia Hadyka, 76, of Hopatcong, passed away on Saturday March 25, 2017 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville Campus, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jersey City, NJ on September 10, 1940 to the late Adam and Pauline Cmielewski, Patricia has resided in Hopatcong since 1975. Patricia graduated from Dover Business College in October of 1993. She was employed as a medical billing specialist at Asthma and Allergy Care in Budd Lake. Patricia enjoyed Tuesday Bingo at St. Jude's Church in Hopatcong with her dear friends for over 30 years. She also loved trips to Mt. Airy Casino in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. Most importantly, Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister whose greatest joy was her family and friends. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Theodore in 2010 and her son in law Michael Bruggemann in 2011. Survivors include five loving children, Susan Bruggemann, Teddy Hadyka, Jonathan Hadyka, Richard Hadyka and Adam Hadyka and his wife, Ashley, three adoring grandchildren, Teddy Hadyka and Cole and Kaylee Bruggemann, her great "grand dog", Maximus and her four sisters, Carol Litwin and spouse, Bobby, Donna Korba and spouse, John, Paula Hennessy and spouse, Gary and Mary Ann Rowland. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Patricia's Life Celebration will include visiting hours on Wednesday March 29 from 4-8 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday March 30 at 10:00 AM at St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong. Cremation will be private.
