Obituary of Eileen W. Oswin

Eileen W. Oswin, formerly of Roxbury Township, passed away on Tuesday October 22, 2013 at Bristol Glen Assisted Living Facility, Newton. She was 79 years of age. Born on July 22, 1934 to the late William O. and Mary Wintermute in Perth Amboy, Eileen resided in Roxbury for more than 50 years prior to moving to Bristol Glen in 2012. She earned her bachelor's degree from Trenton State Teacher's College and her Master's Degree in Math from Montclair State University and was a teacher for, both, the Jefferson Township Board of Education and Mendham Board of Education. Eileen was a parishioner of St. Therese Church in Succasunna and she enjoyed knitting, baking, crossword puzzles, reading and traveling. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister whose greatest joy was her time spent with family. Loving wife of the late William Roderick Oswin, Sr., beloved mother of Patricia Evans and husband, Christian, Eric Oswin and wife, Deborah and William Roderick Oswin, Jr. and wife Teresa, adoring grandmother of Holly Eileen Hill, Douglas Oswin, Eric Oswin, Jr., Katherine Oswin, William Roderick Oswin, III and Christopher Oswin and dearest sister of Jack Wintermute, William Wintermute, Bette Wintermute Woods Price and Ginger Castranova.
