Obituary of Elizabeth Colditz

Elizabeth T. (nee: Gaul) Colditz of Lake Hopatcong passed away Sunday April 16, 2017 at Morristown Memorial Medical Center, Morristown. She was 79. Born in Edgewater, she lived in Weehawken before moving to Lake Hopatcong in 1975. Prior to her retirement, Elizabeth was a housekeeper with Days Inn in Ledgewood. She enjoyed baseball. Beloved wife of the late Howard John Colditz (2009). Devoted mother of Dennis Colditz and his wife Pauline, Donna Colditz and her partner Thomas Toman, Lynn Rozyla and her husband Michael and the late Howard C. Colditz (1989). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Shannon, Michele, Crystal and Tracy. Loving great grandmother of Giovanny, Ashley, Angelina, Aiden, Ethan and Landen. Dear sister of Howard Godfrey and his wife, Janice and Pat Cavalli and her husband, Dan and dear sister-in-law of Margie Gaul. Elizabeth was pre-deceased by her brothers, Robert Gaul and Miles Gaul. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Elizabeth's Life Celebration on Wednesday April 19 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will be offered Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Cremation and interment of ashes will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabtes .org).
