To the family of Ed,
Our dearest sympathies. Ed was a regular at 25 30 Espresso for many years. He joked and told us stories of his family many times. We enjoyed getting to know him. And his dog. :) After his retirement we would see him at the grocery store and catch up. We always knew he was someone we could trust and count on. We will miss him too.
Best regards,
Maureen

I was saddened to hear of Ed's passing. I had met him and family less that a month ago in dan Daly's hospital room. We had a very pleasant conversation and vowed to continue the friendship after he returned home. I found him the type of person anyone would want in a friend. Sadly we all lost a good person. Condolences to the family from the Slattery Detachment of the Marine Corps League.

Ed truly was one of the kindest and funniest people I've ever known! You always got a bear hug and a laugh, and you knew he was a genuinely caring person. Some of the best memories I have in life were due to Ed and his sense of humor and decency. He was so special and I was so sad to hear of his passing. I know he's with his buddy now and somewhere they're very busy while he learns the ropes from him. Until we meet again Ed, thank you for being in my life! Love, Jan

Barbara, we cannot express how sorry we were to learn about Ed's passing. We will treasure the St. Patrick's day parties at the Legion and the parades. He was an amazing man, veteran, and father who truly lived God's message to do for others. We feel very blessed to have known him. Semper Fi Ed, and may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

There are just no words to describe the heartbreak we have at the news of this amazing man's passing. My husband and Ed were in the Marine Corp together when they were very young and a brotherly bond was created that could never be broken. I never had the chance to meet this wonderful man, but I feel as though I knew him personally. My hubby has so many stories and they are all so funny and touching. We send our love and prayers to Barbara and the rest of the family, including Alison and Courtney. I know Ken and Eddie will reunite one day and continue creating memories. In the meantime may your family be sustained by all the wonderful memories Ed gave to you.

Semper Fi, Marine.
We will miss Ed more than words can express. The gentle smile, the quick wit, the friendly manner. One of a kind, for sure. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Love Always,
