Obituary of James Cafaro

James Cafaro, 63, of Hopatcong, passed away on Wednesday July 26, 2017 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus. Born in Jersey City on June 16, 1954 to the late Frank and Anna (Petro) Cafaro , James has resided in Hopatcong for 38 years. He was the Co-owner, with his brother, Frank, of Cafaro Hardwood Flooring, LLC in Hopatcong. James was devoted to his family and his greatest joy was spending time with them and his many close friends. He also enjoyed fast boats, woodworking, shooting sporting clays and playing pool. He was a parishioner at St. Therese Church in Succasunna and Times Square Church in Mt. Arlington. Survivors include his wife, Pil Cha, sons Max Cafaro and Brandon Huling and his brother, Frank Cafaro and his wife, Joan.. James Life Celebration will include viewing on Thursday August 3rd from 4-8 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered Thursday evening at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
