Obituary of Rebeca Cordero Bovair

Rebeca Cordero Bovair of Hopatcong, NJ passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon Twp., NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was 52 years old. Rebeca was born on November 6, 1964 in Madrid, Spain to Sergio and late Carmen (Blanco) Cordero.

She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Rebeca graduated Rutgers University with a degree in dance and pursued her passion as a dance instructor and also was formerly employed as a driver for UPS in Secaucus, NJ. Rebeca resided in Hopatcong, NJ for the past 17 years and previous to that, she lived in Bayonne, NJ.

Rebeca is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, Christopher, her devoted daughter, Emma, her father, Sergio Codero, her bothers, Jose and Rafael and too many dear friends and relatives to mention. She was predeceased by her mother, Carmen in 1994.

Rebeca's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Monday, September 11th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. There will be a Catholic Prayer Service offered on Tuesday, September 12th at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Rebeca will be laid to rest at the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. All services were entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
